Young Family buys Catalina 2015 Telethon Home!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Telethon Home Auction on Sunday. A record $25,854,524 was raised over the entire weekend, which included $707,500 from the sale of the 2015 Catalina Telethon Home by InVogue.

More than 500 people, including loads of kids and families, took part in the festivities. We also had guest appearances from Channel 7 celebrities, including House Rules judge Wendy Moore and Adam Dovile from Better Homes and Gardens.

The Telethon Home

Every year InVogue works with trades and other amazing suppliers, who donate their time and skills to build the Telethon Home. All proceeds from the sale of the home go to Telethon.

Every year, we build thousands of homes for families in WA. But this project is particularly special to us, because proceeds go to support sick kids and young people in WA who need vital funding for care and research.

Auction Results

The big event of the day was, of course, the auction of the 2015 Catalina Telethon Home by InVogue. A record number of people inspected the home before the Auction, which started at 11am.

The successful bidders were a young family of 4 from Coffs Harbour, who had only just moved to Perth a short time ago. After the auction, Craig shared his thoughts on his family’s brand new home. “I think we’ll love it here,” he said.

Ron Farris from Century 21 wielded the Auctioneer’s hammer, in his typical vibrant style.

Family Fun

Telethon is all about supporting sick kids and young people in WA, which is one good reason why the Telethon Home Auction has plenty of adventures for the little ones. This year, the animal petting zoo was an absolute hit. There was also flash tattooing, stilt walkers, games and plenty more activities for the whole family.
